I’m becoming less and less proud of my eating habits, I can’t shift the urge to eat chocolate and crisps! Plus I don’t look any different yet, though I’m not anticipating a thinner self as my body is naturally working to provide a healthy hoe for my baby. I do feel better though for having less of the fizzy stuff and more fruit, and I look forward to have my fruit filled breakfasts and lunch. So, here’s my food diary of Tuesday 3rd November.
HOW I FELT THIS MORNING
I felt really guilty about the KFC, but felt loads better when the bedtime tea worked its magic. I said to myself that morning ‘make sure you eat a healthy tea!’. Waking up at 09:00 I naturally got my daytime tea bag and was ready to start another bootea day!
- 2 Pancakes topped with walnuts, honey and lemon juice
- Daytime tea
- Mango and pineapple smoothie
I am addicted to walnuts! I only started eating them properly a couple of weeks ago and now I make sure I have them everyday. Smoothies are also very refreshing for a mid-morning snack and if you make them yourself you know what goes in them.
- Ramen instant noodles
Me and Chris decided to go out for the afternoon so I made a quick lunch so I had time to get ready. I did say in a previous post that my food combinations are a tad crazy, like carbs with a side of carbs? Ha!
- McDonalds (Yikes!) – 4 chicken nuggets with medium fries
- Mango and pineapple smoothie (From McDonalds)
So because we got back a bit too late to cook (and Chris was starving) we got another unhealthy tea. We are a bad influence on each other so it was his turn to tempt me today. I did go medium though because I was full quite quick.
SNACKS AND DRINKS
- Fruit salad – blueberries, strawberries and red and white grapes
- Chocolate bar
- 1 slice of granary bread with butter
- Sugar free vimto
- Blueberry and apple tea
This isn’t in any particular order, but spread out throughout the day. The chocolate was part of our car journey, and the crisps were our fuel for watching American Horror Story (We’ve both never watched it so we decided to watch it together from the beginning). I like to have fruit in the morning-mid afternoon as it helps me feel fresh throughout the day. A late snack of granary bread accompanied with a fruit tea helped me drift off.
Walking around ikea! We walked around 1 1/2 times (We went back on the one way system to look for photo frames which we hadn’t even passed yet!). And it’s a huge ikea! My legs were aching afterwards and my bump was sore. Woe is me.
HOW I FELT THIS EVENING
I contemplated what results I wanted from this challenge. I know I won’t end up losing weight but maybe get the urge to eat healthy foods. Maybe it will put the drive in me to be healthy forever? From what I used to eat before I got pregnant to what I see in this food diary I am happy with my progress thus far.
I am still hoping to post my usual posts maybe once a week, so I don’t overload my followers with like 10 posts in a week which is just crazy, I just uploaded a video on my YouTube channel which I will be adding a post to maybe tonight? Maybe after the first week of my Bootea teatox I’ll group a few days together? What do you guys think? Stay sweet x
